Deliberation No. 001/FUNDECIT/CD/2022

The FUNDECIT Board of Directors, in an extraordinary meeting on August 18, 2002 and in accordance with the respective call;

In the exercise of the powers defined in Article 8 2. i) and Article 9 3. o) of the FUNDECIT Organic Statute approved by Presidential Decree No. 178/21 of 16 July;

Having assessed the opinion report submitted by the DAFPICD Department of FUNDECIT on the existence of situations (six in number) in which the submission of an application for financing, in accordance with the notices and within the defined deadline, could not be completed for technical reasons:

DELIBERATE
1. The six applications under the conditions mentioned above (one for each proponent) can be sent within 72 hours of this decision, to the email carlos.tuti.fundecit@ciencia.ao, to be treated on equal terms with the other applications.
2. Inform interested parties.
3. Publish on the FUNDECIT website.

Closing of Notices for Project Financing

The Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development (FUNDECIT) hereby informs society, the scientific community and, in particular, candidates for the notices published on June 17, 2022 that they closed at the end of last 2nd of August, as expected, with 203 applications for project financing, distributed across notices no. 1 (74), 2 (48) and 3 (81).

In addition to the explanations provided at the launch of the notices, two more clarification sessions were held (6th and 19th July) and another debriefing session (5th August) and the FUNDECIT website regularly published the questions asked by interested parties and their responses.  One week was also granted (until 12 noon on August 12th) for candidates and other interested parties to present any presentation, question or proposal about this process to the email carlos.tuti.fundecit@ciencia.ao. From that moment on, the administrative screening and review of proposals will begin to identify approved applications, resulting in the signing of agreements and financing.

Submission of applications for project financing by FUNDECIT

We have the honor of thanking Your Excellencies, Managers of Higher Education Institutions and Scientific Research Institutions located throughout the country, for participating in the publication session of notices for project financing by FUNDECIT, which took place on the 17th of June, both in person and through the link published in due course.

Accordingly, and since that session, applications for the three notices have been open by clicking on “Submit Project” on the FUNDECIT website (https://fundecit.ao/). Any doubts or questions that remain after consulting the notice, the respective script and submission model, must be presented by filling out and sending the “Information Request” available in “Contacts”.
